Ideal mono for Mainline

Was interested to hear other guys thoughts on there preferences of mono brands for mainline use and reasons why they like the particular brand ie price,abrasion resistance, supplity, knot tying etc etc.

I ask this as i had a bad experince of being broken off in big swells 9due to stones/sand breaking the mainline) and wonder if there is a better preffered line out there on the market?

Interested to hear others thoughts on this subject!

Bait Clips

I am thinking about getting bait clips to use on a few of my long distance rigs.

I had a read of the different options on the Tackle Tactics website and would like advice on which product to get.

At the moment I like the simple design of the "Pro-Link Bait Clips" and they are relatively inexpensive. Although, would the "Impact Shield" versions work better?

Experiences please?
