Well hopefully with these winds we should be catching good sized kahawai soon...for those that snear a couple and forgotten what fish taste like and don't own a smoker...here is a quick frypan recipe... make sure you bleed kahawai on capture, scale , fillet and then remove the skin. Cut the meat into good sized cube/ chunks. In a bowl - 1 egg , curry powder and salt -mix. Place the meat into the bowel and mix around. Take the meat out one by one and cover in bread crumbs and throw into the pan...mmmmm you wouldn't even know you were eating kahawai! __________________ Fish come and go, but it is the memory of afternoons on the beach that endure.
